Thule Archway Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2014 Chrysler Town and Country- Video
Today on our 2014 Chrysler Town and Country, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Archway XT Trunk Mount 2-Bike Rack. That part number is TH9009XT. Now we already have our bike in place. We are going to start by taking this off. We've got three straps along the frame here, and then one that's going to be our anti-sway cradle in the back. We will take our bike off, set it off to the side, and we can take a few measurements. more

Thule Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2012 Chrysler 300- Video
Today on our 2012 Chrysler 300 we're going to test fit the Thule Raceway PRO trunk mount 2-bike rack. That part number is TH9001PRO. We already have our bike secured down, we're first going to show you how we do that. We have 2 cradles in place with 3 straps, 2 on our frame and 1 as our anti-sway strap. Start by removing these and we can place our bike off to the side. With that out of the way I always suggest that you replace your straps so you don't lose or damage them and now we'll take a few measurements. First being overall we're adding to our vehicle, we're adding about 19", to reduce that for close quarters situations like parking, we'll come up here and lift up on our gray lever, rotate those arms down, and we'll lock them in place. more

Saris Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2012 Chrysler 300- Video
Today on our 2012 Chrysler 300, we're doing a test fit of the Saris SuperBones 3 Trunk-Mount Rack. That part number is SA802. We already have our bike secured down. First, we're going to show you how we do that. We have 3 straps altogether holding our bike in place, 2 on our top at our frame and one as our anti-sway. We'll start be removing these top 2 first. It helps hold that strap down onto the bike frame and push the button to remove that. more

Let's take a closer look at it and show off some of the features. How the bike attaches to the rack, you're going to have three points of contact, all of them on the bike's frame. You're going to have the two straps up here and the one strap off to the side here, which is going to serve as an anti-sway strap, which will keep it from moving back and forth possibly hitting the bike rack or the bike in front of it. Let's go ahead and take that off and set it off to the side. Now with the straps, it's always a good practice to put them back in place once you take them off because you don't want them flapping around while you're driving and you don't want to lose them while you're driving. Next, I'm going to go ahead and give you some measurements here..well actually one measurement. And it's going to be how far the bike rack itself sticks out from the vehicle once it's installed. more

Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. How the bike is actually attached to the rack, you're going to have three points of contact to your bike's frame. You're going to have these two straps up top here, and this one off to the side down here. This is going to act as kind of a anti-sway strap to keep it from going back and forth possibly hitting the bikes in front of it. Let's go ahead and take that off. To loosen these up, you just push these buttons up top here. And just work the strap out. more

Hollywood Racks Baja Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2015 Chrysler 200- Video
Today on this 2015 Chrysler 200, we're going to be test filling the Hollywood rack Baja 2 bike rack, part #HRB2. As you can see, we have a bike guard already installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. Now as you can see, there's going to be 3 points of contact to your bike's frame here. You're going to have 2 straps up top plus a strap off to the side here which is going to be your anti sway strap to keep it from going back and forth, possibly hitting the bike rack itself of the bike in front of it. Let's go ahead and remove the straps and take the bike off. Now when removing the straps, it's always a good habit to get into to actually put them back in place once you're done, primarily so they're not flapping around while you're driving and you don't lose them while you're driving. more

You're going to have two straps up top, and one strap off to the side here, which is going to act as kind of anti-sway strap to keep it from coming back and forth, possibly hitting the bike rack or the bike in front of it. For security, there's also an integrated cable lock that you would pull over the bikes and insert right here and lock, so your bikes would be nice and secure while you drive. Let's go and take the bike off. Go ahead and set it up to the side out of the way. Now, with the straps, once you take them off you want to reinstall them because you don't want them flapping around while you're driving, you don't want to lose them while you're driving. more

We have a bike on our rack and we have our rack hooked to our vehicle, just going to show you a few things. How we have our bike connected to our bike rack itself, we have a total of three straps, two up top, one to the side, which is our anti-sway strap. That's going to help the bike from swaying much so it won't damage your vehicle or your other bikes. I'm just going to take the two up top first, we take off our anti-sway strap, remove our bike, set it out the way, and come back. Replace our straps so we don't lose them or damage them. more

Now, how we have our bike connected to the bike rack itself We have a total of three straps. We have the two up top and the one to the side, which is we call an anti-sway strap. That's going to keep the bike from swaying and damaging your vehicle, or your other bikes on your bike rack. So, we're going to take the two up to first, we're going to take off the anti-sway strap, take off our bike, we're going to set this to the side. Now, we're going to come back and go ahead and put back our straps, so we don't lose them or damage them. Now, we're going to take a few measurements. more

Hollywood Racks Expedition Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2013 Chrysler 200- Video
Today on our 2013 Chrysler 200, we'll be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Expedition 2 Bike Rack, part number HRF6-2. To begin our test fit, we'll place our bike rack onto the trunk of our vehicle. We want to make sure that the lower arm is sitting on the upper tier of our bumper. The upper arm needs to be resting on the top of our trunk door.We'll go ahead and use the levers on the side to adjust the top arm as necessary. Once we have it set, we can go ahead and undo our straps to gain access to our hooks. We'll place our top hooks at the top of our trunk door. more
